Mac n cheese no milk

All you need are a few basic ingredients. • 2 cups of almond milk • 1/2 cup flour • 3 tablespoons of butter or olive oil • 1 tablespoon onion powder • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or minced garlic (if you don’t have fresh) • Salt and black pepper to taste In a saucepan set over medium heat, melt the butter or heat the olive oil. Add the flour and whisk until well combined. Continue cooking for about 2 minutes, stirring often with a wooden spoon or spatula for even browning. Slowly add in your almond milk while whisking constantly to avoid getting clumps of flour in your saucepan. Cook over medium-low until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon (about 4-5 minutes). Stir in spices if using . Season with salt and pepper as desired . Serve warm over cooked pasta , broccoli , cauliflower , butternut squash , spinach noodles etc Enjoy!!
