Baking sheet(s) Ingredients Two ¼ cup dry measuring cups flour, plus additional flour for kneading (I used spelt flour in the pos below) 1 teaspoon active dry yeast ½ teaspoon granulated sugar 2 tablespoons canola oil 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice ¾ cup warm water (about 100°F) 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted ½ teaspoon kosher salt 4 sprigs fresh rosemary Honeyed Apples 3 cups thinly sliced tart apple About 20 whole peppercorns About 20 whole cloves 3 dried bay leaves 10 whole allspice berries 8 cardamom s 5 black peppercorns ¼ stick cinnamon Zest of one lemon Instructions Mixer Method Pour boiling water into a large mixing bowl and sprinkle in both types of yeast. Let stand until creamy and foamy (about 15 minutes). Add remaining ingredients except apples to bowl along with about ⅔ cup extra flour for kneading; stir together until combined well. Mix throughly by hand or on low speed using a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook until smooth but still sticky (it should be slightly more wet than traditional bread dough). Knead mixture on floured work surface several times until smooth, adding.

I wouldn’t normally post a recipe that I haven’t eaten, but this is so simple and yummy, I made it just to take pictures. It was a hit with my family!

Here is what you need:
1/2 cup shredded rotisserie chicken (or 1 cooked chicken breast) – I used this one from Harris Teeter, because it has no added ingredients – it only had chicken and oil listed (and salt). So if you use an actual rotisserie chicken from the store make sure to check for additives on the label. Mine had some sort of sweetener in it which threw off the flavor balance for me with this salad. Some nds are better than others when made at home – so look around before you buy one if possible! 🙂

If you use a big one, you will probably want to use less than 1/4 of it. This is also optional, so if you have no dietary restrictions and love raw onion, feel free to add more! Just be warned that the flavor could be overpowering with too much of it! 🙂.
